The aim of this study program is to qualify students for a legal activity in commercial law in the international labor market through the studies in Istanbul and Cologne. The degree program offers four different areas of specialization in corporate law, capital market law and consumer protection, competition and intellectual property law and international commercial law. The courses in the areas of specialization not only impart the relevant Turkish and German law to students, but also highlight the European legal references of these regulations. Practicing methodological-analytical skills is also part of the core goal of the study program tailored to German-Turkish legal practitioners. This is guaranteed by a specific compulsory module on "Methods and Techniques" with subject-specific rhetoric courses and other events. Practice-related content, such as contract drafting or alternative dispute resolution, is part of the curriculum. Another special feature is the imparting of business knowledge in its own compulsory module as well as the practical relevance through supplementary company internships, which will, in the interest of the students, convey the Türk-Alman Ticaret ve Sanayi Odasi / Turkish-German Chamber of Industry and Commerce in Cologne. The topic of the Master's thesis can be defined with reference to the internship in order to achieve the orientation of the Master's thesis on legal-practical problems.
